ABOUT

WHAT ARE WE ALL ABOUT?

Your kids will enjoy
the scriptures now told in a comic book format

We are just a small crew with a love of God and a hope to flood the earth with His truth. There are some talents we have, as well some we have to pay for by hiring free-lance artists and writers. We are always looking for like-minded people to work with us, short term or long term. Please reach out if you have questions or want to collaborate!

The Idea Guy

Michael “Mike” Stewart is the creative brain behind this first issue. Lifetime lover of comic books and The Book of Mormon, he wanted a way for his four sons to enjoy both at the same time.

Motivator

Fun and spunky Elisa Verçoza has been a rocket of motivation for this project. She brought the talent of lettering, a second eye on the art, and the drive to keep going even after months of frustrating slowness.

Telling Our Story

Moana shares what we do with the world through social media outlets. This is very important! If it wasn’t for her, you probably wouldn’t have found us!

An Eye for Detail

Heather was brought into the project late, but quickly became our go-to for catching small details and making tiny adjustments. She is the chief editor of this issue. She also assisted in editing  The Pearl of Great Price Reference Companion.

The Studio that Made it Possible

What do you do when no one on your team can draw passable comic book art? You find the best studio to bring extraordinary talent into the mix. A special thanks to WM Art Studio for lining up the team that created the art!

Coloring

Arianna Sabella is a Sicilian comic artist. She has worked for Disney and Nickelodeon as a colorist. In 2018 she became a chief colorist for Edition Soleil France.

Pencils & Inks

The amazing art of Daniele Sapuppo graces every page of Into the Desert . Daniele was born in Catania, Sicily. He studied comics at the School of Comics in Palermo. He works as a freelance comic artist and illustrator, with various collaborations and active projects.
